Based at Newport, NSW we cover beautiful Pittwater and at Mosman we service our Sydney Harbour clients.
Under the umbrella of AY Marine we conduct two businesses; AY Yacht Sales & Leisure Time. We are focused on providing a complete and coordinated service, able to provide for all aspects of your boating needs. There is the flexibility of using all or part of our services, at any point in time.
Brokerage - Selling
We list and sell quality sail and power craft. We have a number of sales moorings and berths, conveniently located in a sheltered part of Pittwater. Our comfortable twin hull covered power boat is available to ferry prospective clients out to the various boats we have for sale.
When we list your boat for sale, we discuss the marketing strategy and always keep you informed of the progress.
Marketing is via the electronic and publishing media. We would advertise your boat on Boatpoint, the Yacht Hub and on our website. Your boat would also have exposure with our advertisements in Trade-A-Boat and other appropriate publications.
We can offer cleaning, polishing and various shipwright services to ensure your boat presents as well as possible.
Brokerage - Buying
Only listing quality craft, we will supply prospective buyers with a full portfolio of photos and a specification sheet.
An appointment is made to view a boat. We have a comfortable twin hull covered power boat to ferry prospective clients, if the craft is not on a marina.
Once a client is interested in a boat, the purchase price is agreed upon, a contract is made and signed, and deposit is paid subject to further investigation by the purchaser e.g. a survey and/or a test run/sail. Once the purchaser is satisfied, settlement takes place. We provide all the necessary documentation required for transfer of ownership.
